After 12 years in management roles, Ashley Lotcho is ready for the challenges that will face him as Operations Manager at Mustard Foods.
He spent the first two years of his career at Bakkavor training and being mentored by some of the group’s leading managers, enabling him insight and experiences in a wide variety of competencies.
These include process development – taking concepts from kitchen to launch for leading retailers and commissioning manufacturing equipment in a number of sites in order to improve the factory flow; technical compliance and the transferring of product ranges between sites.
After training, Ashley was placed in London at Bakkavor Meals as an Operations Manager, and this is where his passion for the process of meal production and his appreciation for meal production equipment began.
Following this, Ashley learned warehousing operations, but he says, “I missed hairnets, the sound of machines and the challenges of a production environment and started working with GÜ desserts.”
Ashley enjoyed the drive and passion involved in the production of own-branded products as well as the development of the site and what was implemented to increase manufacturing capacity for multiple countries. During his time there, the facility was upgraded in order to create a more efficient facility.
Ashley then returned to Bakkavor Meals in London to assist with the implementation of new cooking and manufacturing lines, before moving to Adelie at the flagship site in Milton Keynes as a Manufacturing Manager producing sandwiches and wraps for leading retailers.
Ashley’s passion for working with diverse teams, establishing and maintaining quality across facilities, developing teams and building successful relationships suppliers and clients will ensure a long and successful reign as Operations Manager at Mustard Foods.
Welcome aboard, Ashley.
