Mustard Foods awarded FDA certification

Mustard Foods officially has FDA certification after applying for it in order to support one of our UK based internationally expanding restaurant groups.

FDA certification is required in the United States for all foreign customers wishing to import products that are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

With one of our customer restaurant groups expanding into America and wishing to use the sauce at their restaurant launch, we applied for FDA certification in September 2018.

The application was successful with the certificate no.18576868106 awarded later the same month.

The certificate contains all the pivotal information about the product’s regulatory and marketing status.

It is a feather in the cap, or a spice in the soup, for any product to achieve FDA approval and paves the way for Mustard Foods to assist other customers wishing to break into the US market.
