Mustard Foods is continuing its strident expansion with the appointment of Kyle Richards as Head of Purchasing. With three new clients and production levels tipping over the 100-tonnes-per-month mark, Mustard is ensuring its core team goes from strength to strength.
“I’m extremely happy to be joining Mustard Foods,” said Richards. “I hope to lend my knowledge and experience to support this rapidly expanding business for future growth. It is our goal to be market leaders in a relatively young sector in which Mustard Foods stands out on top.”
Kyle recently moved from Fresh Direct UK where he developed a great insight across the wholesale food industry. Kyle began as a seasonal picker and packer in the Fresh Direct warehouse until concluding his time there as the top sales manager of the local/independent sector. Along the way Kyle spent time managing the warehouse and stock teams, and also led supply chain processes and purchasing.
“This is an exciting time of growth and innovation for Mustard Foods,” said James Robins, Managing Director. “We have set ourselves some ambitious targets for the next couple of years and to achieve these we need talented people. Kyle has some great experience in the sector which will add value to the growing team. We look forward to all Kyle has to offer.”
Welcome, Kyle, we’re delighted to have you on board.
